Pioneer Day!

In honor of Pioneer Day, I thought I'd share a recent experience. On my way back from St. George, I stopped at Cove Fort. It's located on I-15 just north of the I-70 turnoff to Denver. It's a really cool restored fort that was built in 1867 to help travelers heading from Salt Lake to Southern Utah, Arizona, and beyond. They have tours of the fort and you go in all the rooms. It's very well done. If you're like me, you've probably seen the signs and just driven on past. However, if you have any interest in Utah or pioneer history, it is well worth a stop.
