In 2011,
Utah’s exporting industry grew from $13.8 billion in 2010 to $19 billion in
2011, placing Utah as the 2nd leading state nationwide in total
export growth. Utah’s foremost exports are: gold and silver and other precious
metals, computer memory, various food preparations, molybdenum, aircraft engines, and safety airbags.
