There is good
news in the housing market! The Commerce Department reported that new
home sales increased 28 percent from March to April in the Midwest and
West. The median price of new homes increased to $235,700. Nationally,
sales of existing homes also rose to nearly a two year high. Here in Utah,
there are definite signs of an improving housing market. Many agents are
reporting multiple offers on well-priced homes, and there are signs that prices
may have bottomed out.
