Squashing the Competition!

Exciting news for Utah County this weekend! The first portion of the Mountain View Corrdidor opened to drivers on Saturday. Project director, Teri Newell said, "Whether someone lives next to 2100 North or in the surrounding communities of Lehi, Saratoga Springs, and Eagle Mountain, this road will benefit them greatly by improving east-west access from Redwood Road to I-15."

Matt McConkie of Mountain Green, UT grew this year's winning pumpkin at the annual Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers competition in Lehi. The previous state record was 1,169 lbs, which was squashed by more than 400 lbs! The winner weighed in at a massive 1,600 lbs!
