Unemployment Applications Drop

Unemployment applications have dropped this month to a low no one has seen since March of 2008. The consistent drop means fewer companies are laying off workers. On average, unemployment applications have fallen nearly 13% in five weeks! This means good news for the limping economy.

Utah Ranks # 4 in Job Hiring Poll

A recent study finds that Utah is one of the top states when it comes to creating jobs. The study asked one question, whether or not Utah companies are hiring or are they firing? And Utah dominantly answered: ‘Hiring!’ That makes the state fourth in the country behind only North Dakota, Washington D.C. and Iowa. "Despite what you're hearing about the economy, I think we're a good barometer. I think things are picking up." said Wayne Cederholm, CEO, C.R. England.

Real Estate Market is on the Rebound!

"We're seeing home sales up for the entire state of Utah," said Utah Association of REALTORS Communications Director Deanna Devey says.
